The Innovation Fund is one of the world’s largest funding programmes forthe deployment of net-zero and innovative technologies. With a revenueof €40 billion from 2020 to 2030 from the EU Emissions Trading System(ETS), the Innovation Fund aims to create financial incentives forcompanies and public authorities to invest in cutting-edge low-carbontechnologies and support Europe’s transition to climate neutrality. ThisFund aims to: help businesses invest in clean energy and industry; boosteconomic growth; create future-proof jobs; reinforce Europeantechnological leadership on a global scale.
