On behalf of the European Union Global Action on Space, we have the great pleasure of inviting you to our upcoming event, “Fostering Innovation and Cooperation in Space between the EU and LAC”.
What?
The EU Global Action on Space, an initiative of the European Union, is dedicated to promoting the application of EU Space Programme solutions worldwide. This event, organized around three key themes—emergency response, transport, and environmental protection—aims to demonstrate the benefits that the EU Space Programme offers to space stakeholders and local communities in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. Additionally, it seeks to enhance collaboration and synergies between the EU and LAC space ecosystems.
Where?
The event will be held in a hybrid format, with some audience and speakers connecting online. The event is free of charge, and participants are responsible for their transport and booking. To facilitate in-person participation, we offer a hotel discount code at the Delfins Beach Resort: EU4Space. The code is active, and the bookable dates are within the March 30 and April 7 window.
Synopsis
The agenda includes sessions on space applications within the three designated topics, featuring speakers from EU institutions and local representatives. These sessions will not only highlight concrete space-based solutions but also outline opportunities for collaboration with European partners. On the second day, participants will have an exclusive opportunity to visit the newly established Galileo station awaits. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
